Need Help

Hey everyone, I'm new to the community. *waves* I was hoping that someone here could tell me where I could download a software that would make it easier to make clips using avi files. I have a show that is entirely in avi format so I can't use DVDShrink like I normally do with my DVDs and when I try to make clips in WMM the clips never come out right. Probably because the length of the avi file is too long I'm thinking. So, anyway, I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me out? Thanks in advance!
