Vegas or Final Cut?
I started off with Sony Vegas Platinum, and I loved the program. I still do. I started learning how to do some really cool effects with it, and how to do some more advanced editing.
When I started college this year, I bought a Mac. As a graduation present, my parents got me Final Cut Pro. I'm still figuring out how to use it, but so far the effects offered are less than with Vegas, and I feel like I can edit better with Vegas.
I'm thinking about getting the full version of Vegas to edit with, but it could be that I just haven't spent nearly enough time with Final Cut to figure out how neat the effects can be, and how they can be used.
Should I get the full version, or should I stick with Final Cut?
