Question

In what can only be called a desperate attempt to find an alternative to Windows Movie Maker (which crashes almost every time I try to upload a clip), I downloaded an evaluation version of Virtual Edit in order to make a music video. I finished the project, and tried to render the video, but no matter what I do, when it finishes saving (IF it finishes saving), half the video clips just appear black. A friend of mine did the same thing and had the same problem. Is there any way at all I can get it to work, because I really do not want to spend all the time necessary to re-make the video on a different program.
